Women's Basketball Falls to Pioneers

GREENSBURG, PA – A career-high 16 points by junior Trinity Lockwood-Morris was not enough as the Bobcats dropped their first conference game of 2025 against Alfred State. The Pioneers were led by Taylor Benjamin, who scored 23 points, 12 rebounds, and four steals and defeated Pitt-Greensburg 64-58.
 
Sarah Somers also had a 12-point ten rebound double-double, with Alfred State scoring 44 points in the paint. Lockwood-Morris' 16 points went with 11 rebounds for her first double-double. The Bobcats out-rebounded Alfred State 44-40 and had four more assists, but Pitt-Greensburg turned the ball over 23 times compared to the Pioneers'12.
 
The Bobcats will be back on the court on Jan.8 when they take on Hilbert at 4 p.m. inside Chambers Hall.
