Women's Basketball Ousted by Hilbert in Overtime

GREENSBURG, PA – The Bobcats opened up the spring semester with a conference home game against Hilbert. The Bobcats were led by Tiana Moracco's career-high 26 points, seven rebounds, and four steals. Trinity Lockwood-Morris and Autumn Matthews also scored double figures for Pitt-Greensburg, but it was not enough as the Hawks came out soaring 68-64.
 
The lead changed hands 11 times, and the score was tied 10 times as the game entered overtime, tied at 57. Kelsey Schlagenhauf led the scoring for Hilbert with a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double. Freshman Rakiyah Porter and junior Anna Durbin rounded out the scoring for the Bobcats with nine points each. The Bobcats shot 38 percent from the floor but made it to the free-throw line nine times. Hilbert doubled up the Bobcats at the line, shooting 13-for-18.
 
The Bobcats will return to the court next Wednesday, January 15, when they travel to La Roche to take on the RedHawks. Tip-off will be at 7 p.m.
