Women’s Soccer Blanks Hilbert in Dominant Road Win

Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer turned in a complete performance on Saturday afternoon, earning a 3-0 shutout victory over Hilbert to improve to 7-7-2 overall and 4-1-1 in AMCC play.

Three different Bobcats scored in the win, including senior forward Megan Hickey, whose second-half goal marked a major career milestone—her 100th career point.

Pitt-Greensburg controlled the tempo from the opening whistle, outshooting Hilbert 23-6 and generating 15 corner kicks. Riley Gesinski opened the scoring in the 26th minute, followed by a goal from Dionna Santia just four minutes into the second half. Hickey sealed the win in the 68th minute with her milestone goal, capping off a dominant offensive effort.

Goalkeeper Kira Howcroft made two saves to secure the shutout, her 2nd consecutive shutout and 4th of the season. Gesinski led the team with five shots, and Hickey and Maya Wertelet each added four.

Hilbert goalkeeper Keira McFarland was kept busy all afternoon, recording 12 saves as Pitt-Greensburg peppered the net with 15 shots on goal.

AMCC play continues next Saturday as the Bobcats host Alfred State for Senior Day. Kickoff is scheduled for 1PM.
