The AMCC has released the All-Conference Teams for Men's Golf and the Bobcats are strongly represented, landing four athletes on the team.
Anthony Treonze is named 1st-team all-AMCC after finishing the season with a 76.33 average round score, just .08 strokes behind the leader. Treonze anchored the Pitt-Greensburg squad this season, finishing top 10 in 4 events and taking how low-man honors at the Hilbert Invitational, an event the team also won. While this is Treonze's 1st time landing on the 1st team, he is no stranger to all-conference honors, having been 2nd team in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Joining Treonze on 1st-team all-AMCC is
Zachary Abdallah. Zach finished the season with a 76.92 round average, placing him 6th in the final conference standings. The senior golfer had 4 top-10 finishes throughout the season, including lowman honors at the LaRoche Invitational. This is Abdallah's second consecutive year making 1st-team all-AMCC.
Senior
Nicholas Thomas was named 2nd-team all-AMCC after posting a 77.08 round average, good for 9th in the conference final standings. Nick finished top 10 in 3 events this fall, including lowman at the Pitt-Bradford Leadoff Classic. This is Nick's 2nd time making all-AMCC, after being named 3rd team in 2024.
Rounding out the Bobcat honorees is junior
Ethan Rice. Ethan finished the fall season with a 77.67 round average, good for 11th in the AMCC final standings. Ethan was consistent throughout the fall season, finishing better than +15 in every event he competed in. He finished the Hilbert Invitational in 1st place, tying with teammate Treonze. This is Ethan's first all-AMCC honor.
These four Bobcat golfers helped the team to finish 2nd at the AMCC Championship event and 3rd overall in the AMCC season rankings.
