The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team (9-8-3, 6-1-1 AMCC) heads to Waynesburg University (15-3-2, 8-1-2 PAC) for a high-stakes ECAC semifinal matchup Thursday at 6 p.m. The winner will advance to the ECAC Championship Game on November 22.
Both teams enter the contest looking to bounce back from conference championship losses. UPG fell to Penn State Behrend in the AMCC final, while Waynesburg was edged by Grove City in the PAC title game.
This will be a rematch of their September 10 meeting, when Pitt-Greensburg earned a 1-0 road win on a goal from Maya Wertelet. That result remains one of only three losses for Waynesburg this season.
