Women's Basketball Falls to La Roche in Fast-Paced Affair

GREENSBURG, PA – It was a high-pace running affair between the Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team and the La Roche RedHawks inside Chambers Hall. La Roche scored 25 fast break points and outscored the Bobcats by 16 in that department en route to a win over Pitt-Greensburg 67-38.
 
Trinity Lockwood-Morris scored 13 points, secured 12 rebounds, and was the lone Bobcat in double-figures. La Roche senior Alexis Robison scored 29 points over 33 minutes to lead La Roche as the RedHawks only double-digit scorer. The Bobcats were outrebounded 51-34 and gave up 18 offensive rebounds. La Roche senior Makayla Abram had five offensive rebounds alone. Half of the Bobcats' points came in the paint, and 14 came off La Roche's turnovers.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will travel north to Hamburg, N.Y., to take on Hilbert in a crucial matchup for the Bobcats' playoff hopes. The Hawks defeated the Bobcats 68-64 in their previous meeting inside Chambers Hall. Tip-off will be at 3 p.m.
