Box Score GREENSBURG, PA – The spring season is officially underway for the Pitt-Greensburg men's tennis team. The Bobcats started the season in style as they defeated Thile 6-1 inside Greensburg Racquet Club.

The teams split two doubles matches, with Ryan Cole and Jack Norris winning at No. 2 Doubles, but a win by default for Pitt-Greensburg gave the Bobcats the double point. UPG took four out of the five singles matches played and earned a win in No. 6 singles due to Thiel not having a player. Michael Opal won 6-6,6-0, Cole won 6-2,6-2, Gustavo Arias-Gonzalez won 6-4,6-1, and Jack Schiffhauer won 6-1,6-0.

The win is the Bobcats' first of this academic year, and the team will look for winning No. 2 on Friday, February 28, as they welcome AMCC foe Mount Aloysius to Greensburg. The first serve will be at 4:30 p.m.
