Pitt‑Greensburg controlled the afternoon from start to finish, rolling past Carlow 83–61 on Saturday at Chambers Hall behind a dominant effort on both ends of the floor. The Bobcats shot over 53 percent from the field, overwhelmed the Celtics on the glass, and used a deep, balanced rotation to pull away early and never look back.

From the opening tip, UPG dictated the pace. After early back‑and‑forth possessions, Ty Keffer knocked down a three at 16:50 of the first half to put the Bobcats back in front, and his energy on both ends helped trigger the game's first real surge. Trent Rozich repeatedly got downhill, finishing at the rim twice in a one‑minute span around the seven‑minute mark to push the lead into double digits. The bench then added immediate punch—Tyler Freas hit a jumper at 6:33 and followed with a three at 5:51, stretching the margin to 16 as UPG's rhythm sharpened.

The Bobcats closed the half with emphasis. Jackson Byer drilled a left‑wing three at 1:35, and Keffer beat the clock with a transition three just before the horn, sending Pitt‑Greensburg into halftime ahead 46–28.

The second half played out much the same way. Michael Bigley opened the period with a jumper to extend the lead to 20, and Byer's tip‑in at 17:22 kept the momentum firmly with the hosts. Seconds later, Rozich jumped a passing lane, taking it coast‑to‑coast for a layup that pushed the lead to 22. Though Carlow responded with a couple of perimeter makes, UPG answered immediately—Joziah Wyatt‑Taylor converted back‑to‑back layups midway through the half, and the Bobcats' reserves continued pouring in points with steady interior finishing.

As the game moved into its final stretch, the Bobcats continued to control the tempo and the boards. Arkel Batts knocked down a three from the right wing at 7:34 to grow the lead to 26. Bigley added another strong finish with under six minutes left, and UPG's depth helped close out the win comfortably.

Rozich led the way with an outstanding all‑around performance, posting 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in one of the most complete individual outings of the season. Byer added 13 points and four rebounds, Keffer contributed eight points and tough defensive work, and Bigley recorded seven points and eight rebounds while anchoring the interior. Off the bench, Freas scored nine, while Batts (Arkel), McCune‑Daniels, Gregerson, Pierre‑Paul, Martin, Collins, and Flemm all chipped in to help UPG's reserves outscore Carlow's bench by a wide margin.

The Bobcats dominated statistically—winning the rebounding battle 51–20, scoring 48 points in the paint, and assisting on 21 of their 33 made baskets. The victory lifts Pitt‑Greensburg to 19–4 overall and 11–3 in AMCC play as they continue their strong push toward the postseason.

The Bobcat men return to action Wednesday as they travel to Penn State Altoona for a 7PM tip.
