Pitt-Greensburg Names Kelsey Oddis Senior Woman Administrator

The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelsey Oddis as its Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).

The Senior Woman Administrator is the highest-ranking female administrator in an NCAA athletics department or conference office. Established by the NCAA in 1981, the designation promotes meaningful representation of women in the leadership and management of collegiate athletics.

Oddis brings a unique perspective to the role as a former Pitt-Greensburg student-athlete, coach, and staff member. She competed for three seasons on the Bobcats' cross country team and four seasons with the women's basketball program, where she established several school records. Following graduation, she returned to campus as an admissions counselor, serving as the liaison to the athletics department while also coaching both the cross country and women's basketball programs.

"It truly feels like a full-circle moment," said Oddis. "Pitt-Greensburg gave me so much as a student-athlete, and I feel incredibly proud and fortunate to have the opportunity to give back. I love being involved with athletics and supporting our student-athletes and coaches, and I'm excited to help provide them with the best experience possible."

As Senior Woman Administrator, Oddis looks forward to serving as an advocate for women across the department.

"I want to be a voice and support system for our female student-athletes and coaches," she said. "It's important to represent the University and women's sports in a positive light while helping ensure our student-athletes have someone they can rely on."

Athletic Director Lou Zadecky believes Oddis is the ideal fit for the position.

"I am excited to have Kelsey step into this role," said Zadecky. "Her experience and knowledge as a former standout student-athlete and member of our coaching staff will be vital to this position. Her enthusiasm and willingness to create a positive experience are always on display, and she has a true passion for the growth of our department and the University."

With deep roots at Pitt-Greensburg and a passion for student-athlete success, Oddis' appointment as Senior Woman Administrator reflects the department's commitment to strong leadership and meaningful representation. As she begins this new role, she will continue working alongside coaches, staff, and student-athletes to foster an inclusive environment and help ensure every Bobcat has the opportunity to succeed both on the field of play and in the classroom.
