Chambers Hall Gymnasium

Chambers Hall Gymnasium on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg is home to the Bobcat’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams, as well as the Women’s Volleyball Team. It also houses the Cheer Program at Pitt-Greensburg. Chambers Hall was completed in 1989 as the main student center on campus. It was named in 1997 after Pitt-Greensburg’s second President, George F. Chambers. This building is home to all athletic department offices as well as the teams mentioned above. It is also used to hold such events as convocation and graduation.

The playing court was completely redone in the summer of 2004, to feature a large Bobcat in center court. The gymnasium seats around 400 people with standing room above on the second floor above the court. The gymnasium also features a track that runs on the second floor used by the Cross Country Program as well as many other students.

Chambers Hall is located in the center of campus between Smith Hall and the Millstein Library. It is the central local for student events, and is also home to the Pitt-Greensburg Dining Center.
