Chris Klimchock is entering his fourth season as head coach of the Bobcat men's basketball team in 2024-25 season. Klimchock has led the Bobcats to the AMCC Tournament in his first three seasons as the leader of the Bobcats, including a semi-finals appearance in 2024. He earned his first win as a head coach against Bethany on Nov. 23, 2022. Klimchock earned his first AMCC win shortly there after as the Bobcats defeated Hilbert on December 4, 2022. 

He led the Bobcats to an 11-7 AMCC record in 2024 and had the reach the AMCC semifinals against La Roche. Overall, the Bobcats are 27-21 in AMCC play under Klimchock which puts them in the top half of the conference in wins over the last two seasons. 

Prior to Behrend, Klimchock worked two seasons as an assistant coach at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts as well as a student assistant at his alma mater St. Vincent. He also has worked various basketball camps and served on the Hoop Group Elite Staff at Albright College.

A native of Greensburg, Klimchock played his freshman and sophomore season at Edinboro University where he played in 51 career games and three-time PSAC Freshman of the Week before transferring to St. Vincent for his final two seasons. At St. Vincent, Klimchock was a two-year starter, captain, and First Team All-PAC selection during his senior season and helped guide the Bearcats to the 2013 PAC Tournament Title and a berth into the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Klimchock graduated from St. Vincent with his bachelors degree in psychology and want to earn a master's degree in organizational and professional communication from Regis in 2016  as well as a masters degree in business administration from Penn State Behrend in 2018.
