Biography

2019-20 at Pitt-Greensburg: First Team All-AMCC...Pitt-Greensburg Male Athlete of the Year...Started 23 games for the Bobcats during his junior season...He was the team's leading scorer, at 15.8 points per game, during the 2019-20 campaign, which was good for eighth in the conference. Johnson set a career high, 27 points, in the Bobcats win over Bethany College in the home opener, which was his first of a team best six 20-point games. At the charity stripe, Johnson ranked third in the conference with an 83.9% mark. He improved in just about every statistical category from the previous year. The Maryland native dished out an assist in all but four games, including a career high six in the home win over D'Youville. Johnson continued his success on the defensive end of the court. He swiped a team best 38 steals throughout the year, which saw him go on a streak where he recorded a steal in 13 out of 14 straight games from December 4th to January 29th. 

2018-19 at Pitt-Greensburg: Appeared in all 25 games and made nine starts for the Bobcats in his first season playing for the team…Totaled 232 points in 545 minutes of playing time…Shot 40.3% from the field, 36.4% from three, and hit 74.5% from the charity stripe…Tallied a season-best 24 points and seven rebounds in the season-opener against Washington & Jefferson…Tallied nine games with double-digit points…Recorded three steals in three games during the season…Logged a season-high 27 minutes against both W&J and Franciscan.

Prior to Pitt-Greensburg: Transfer from Alderson Broaddus…Played one season for the Battlers where he played in four games…Totaled 17 points on 7-of-11 from the floor and made 3-of-6 from the free-throw line…Scored a season-high 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting against Davis & Elkins.

High School: Graduate of Hammond High School…Played under head coach Mike Salapata…Named to Howard County Boys Basketball All-Star Game as a sophomore.
