Lucas will begin his first season as the Assistant and Goalkeeper coach at University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg’s coaching staff.
He is a recent grad from Penn State and holds a USC level 2 GK license.
Lucas currently coaches U9 and U12 foundation phases with Pittsburgh Hotspurs and is a coach with the United States Goalkeeper Alliance.
Lucas played club for Century United which ranked in the Top 25 in the country and competed in the Eastern Regional League. After high school he spent two summers playing with the Pittsburgh Hotspurs in the NPSL.
Lucas attended Franklin Regional High school where he helped lead the team to their first ever WPIAL championship and State-semi final game. He gathered many accolades during his time including PA Big 56 First-Team, All-WPIAL, All-Section, and Westmoreland County Goalkeeper of the Year honors. He had a record of 37-4-1 during his junior and senior seasons including 31 shutouts.
