A Connellsville Area High School volleyball standout and graduate, of the 2016 class. Ashten went on to attend Penn State University, where she earned her degree in Radiological Science in 2020.
She began her coaching career in 2021 at No Borders Volleyball club where she spent 3 successful seasons. Also in 2021 Ashten began her journey as the Head Girls Volleyball Coach at Hempfield Area High School, where she spent five seasons helping lead the team to five consecutive playoff appearances and a 4A Section Championship.
Known for her tough-love coaching style, Ashten believes in holding athletes accountable while building confidence, trust, and a strong team culture. She is passionate about helping athletes grow both on and off the court and bringing energy, competitiveness, and positivity to the gym.
She is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue her coaching career with Pitt-Greensburg  and looks forward to being part of the program and helping build on its success. Go Bobcats!Â
