Biography
2023 at Pitt-Greensburg: Third Team All-AMCC. Played 60 sets all part of 20 matches and had a team-high 225 kills. Recorded the program's first 20-kill, 20-dig match against Carlow in which she had 26 kills and 27 digs. the 26 kills were the second most in a single match in program history. She also had 31 points in the match against Carlow, also second most in a single match. She had a team-high 38 service aces, most on the team, with six of them coming against Pitt-Bradford.
Prior to Pitt-Greensburg: Graduate of Deer Lakes High School and played for coach Michael Nypaver. Named Athlete of the Month Twice, Team Captain in 2021 and 2022, First team All-Section in 2020, 2021, and 2022, as well as third team all WPIAL in 2021 and 2022. Member of the National Honors Society and the Spanish National Honors Society. She was Secretary of the National Honors Society and teh American Legion Academic Awardee. Also named to High Honor Roll. Played club for North United, Westmoreland Elite, and Allegheny Volleyball Club and coach Scott Smithley.
Personal: Majoring in Pre-Pharmacy. Daughter of Jason and Jill Friess.
