Lady Bobcats fall in tri-match to Midway, Carlow

PITTSBURGH, Pa:  The Pitt-Greensburg women's volleyball team lost a pair of games in their final non-conference contests on Saturday at Carlow University.

In game one, the Lady Bobcats fell to Midway College (KY) by score of 3-1 (25-21, 18-25, 23-25, 12-25).  Senior Jaime Barkman led the Bobcat attack with 12 kills while teammate Emily Zelenka added 10 kills.  Freshman Paige Misawic  had a team high 33 assists and senior Katie Wyland along with Zelenka had 10 digs apiece.

In game two, the Bobcats fell to host Carlow University in 3 sets (6-25, 11-25, 13-25). Barkman again paced the Bobcat attack with 8 kills.  Misawic led the team with 12 assists and Katie Wyland chipped in 6 digs. 

UPG will begin conference play at home next Wednesday when they host Franciscan University in a AMCC contest.  Game time is set for 7pm in Chambers Hall.
