BEREA, Ohio- The Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team (0-8) fell 121-59 at Baldwin Wallace (6-2) in a non-conference matchup Wednesday evening in the Ursprung Gymnasium.
Leading the charge offensively for the Bocbats were
Blake Shields and
Kyle Bondi who each scored nine points off the bench, while
Matt Zanella chipped in with eight. Baldwin Wallace had six players in double-figures led by Alex Nahra, who had 15.
Pitt-Greensburg shot the ball well connecting on 24-of-27 from the field for a 40.3% clip and did most of its damage inside scoring 42 of its 59 points in the paint.
The Bobcats took their lone lead of the game on
Joe Mancini's layup to open with the game's first basket, but the Yellow Jackets responded with a basket and would go on to lead the rest of the game.
Baldwin Wallace led 60-28 at halftime and went on for the 121-59 victory.
Pitt-Greensburg returns to action Saturday, when it travels to Waynesburg to face the Yellow Jackets at 1:00 p.m.
