PITTSBURGH- The Pitt-Greensburg volleyball team (2-11) lost in straight-sets (25-20, 25-15, 26-24) to Chatham ( in a non-conference match on Thursday night.
The two teams met last Thursday (Sept. 15) in Chambers Hall on the campus of Pitt-Greensburg and in that match, the Bobcats took the match in three sets.
Autumn Karlheim and
Renee' Ault each led the attack for Pitt-Greensburg with six kills, while
Amanda Ross was right behind them with five.
Emma Dongilli did a great job of setting the ball for the outside hitters, as the sophomore achieved 17 assists on the evening. Defensively,
Erica Bosh kept the play alive with 26 digs, while
Kassi Niver and Maria Shaffer each had 13 and 12 digs respectively.
Pitt-Greensburg opens up Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play this weekend, when it faces Hilbert and Medaille, both of which will be played at Franciscan University on Saturday.
