PITTSBURGH- Kyle Bondi and Cody Spaid each scored 12 points but the Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team fell 85-48 to La Roche in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup Wednesday night.

The Bobcats trailed 52-29 at halftime despite shooting 48.1% from the field, and limited La Roche to just 33 points in the second half but were unable to take advantage of the solid defensive effort scoring just 19 points and knocking down 8-of-31 for a 25.8% clip.

La Roche had four players score in double-figures led by Arnes Bajgora who tallied a game-high 16 points. In defeat, the Bobcats got great production from its bench totaling 32 points, led by Spaid's 12 on 5-of-9 from the field.

Four minutes into the first half, Brady Kingston tied the game at eight for Pitt-Greensburg, but La Roche responded and would take the lead for good as Darius Lawrence made 1-of-2 from the line and Bajgora nailed a jumpshot to take an 11-8 lead.

The Hawks led 52-29 at halftime and would go on for the 85-48 victory.

The Bobcats return to the court Saturday when they host Pitt-Bradford at 3:00 p.m.
