GREENSBURG- The Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team put forth a gritty effort but would come up short in the win column falling 83-56 to La Roche Wednesday night in Chambers Hall.

Trell Thomas came off the bench and led the Redhawks with 18 points on 6-of-11 from the floor and hauled down a team-high seven rebounds.
Pitt-Greensburg would trail 5-0 in the opening moments of the first half but would come back and take a 12-9 lead with 12:51 to go in the opening 20 minutes on a layup by Zeise.
Thomas answered for La Roche with a three-ball to tie the game at 12 and was at it again just 13 seconds later, as he got in the passing lane and converted the steal into a layup to give the Redhawks the lead for good.
