PITTSBURGH-
Amanda Ross totaled 15 kills, while
Rayli Turek and
Autumn Karlheim each had 14, but the Pitt-Greensburg volleyball team dropped matches to Oberlin (15-25, 19-25, 14-25) and host Chatham (24-26, 25-23, 6-25, 17-25) Friday evening at the Chatham University Tri-Match.
Pitt-Greensburg struggled to generate an offensive attack eclipsing just an .041 hitting percentage, but did manage to take a set from the Cougars after being swept three sets to zero when the two schools played 10 days ago.
Defensively,
Erica Bosh led the Bobcats with 25 digs over the two matches, while
Kassi Niver,
Autumn Karlheim, Karlheim each chipped in with double-digit digs.
Dongilli led Pitt-Greensburg with 48 assists, which brings her season total to an even 250, while Karlheim gave the Bobcats a spark from behind the service line as she nailed three service aces .
Pitt-Greensburg returns home for its next match Sunday, when it plays host to Earlham College at 1 pm.
