LATROBE-
Erica Bosh put together a special day Saturday afternoon as the senior libero eclipsed the 1,000 dig mark, but Bosh's efforts were not enough as the Pitt-Greensburg Volleyball team dropped matches to St. Vincent (3-0) and Westminster (3-0).
Bosh, the all-tiime leader in career digs, currently sits at 1,058 for her career.
Despite the memorable afternoon for Bosh, the Bobcats came up short Saturday dropping 3-0 decisions to both St. Vincent and Westminster.
Emma Dongilli continued her solid play in 2017 as the sophomore tallied 35 assists in the two matches. After gaining experience last season and getting to learn from Paige Misawic, Dongilli had progressed nicely in her sophomore season, as the setter had 83 assists through four matches.
The Bobcats went with a balanced approve offensively Saturday, as five players totaled 20 or more attacks, led by junior
Autumn KarlheimKarlheim's 39.
Pitt-Greensburg returns to the court Tuesday evening, when it plays host to Chatham for its home-opener at 7 pm.
