Pitt-Greensburg jumped out to a quick lead in the opening game, scoring five of the first six points to hold a 5-1 advantage. The Bobcats continued to lead until the Panthers would jump ahead 11-10 on an ace by Emily Cleveland. Following the ace, the Bobcats regrouped and won the next three points highlighted by a Sabre Turner ace, which forced a timeout by Bradford. The two sides traded points back and forth and would once again be deadlocked at 20 after Leonard smashed down a kill. The Panthers reeled off three quick points and were two points away from winning the opening set. The Bobcats down to the brink of losing the set, won four straight points and had set-point, but Bradford would tie the game at 24. After the tie, Pitt-Greensburg once again had set point at 25-24, but Bradford once again had the answer winning three-straight points to take the opening set 27-25.

To begin the second set, the Bobcats won the first three points to open a 3-0 lead, but Bradford came right back and answered with four-straight to take its first lead. Turner's kill tied the set at eight and an attack error from the Panthers put the Bobcats back in front 9-8. The lead would not last long as Bradford won the next five points to take command of the game. Pitt-Greensburg cut the deficit to 17-12 on a kill by Kathleen Price, but the Panthers went on to take game two, 25-17.

Once again to open the third set, Pitt-Greensburg came out strong holding a 7-3 lead, but Bradford stormed back to tie the score at seven. The Bobcats continued their hot play and some clutch serving from Turner put the Bobcats ahead 12-8. Like they had done the previous two sets, Bradford stormed back with five quick points to grab a 13-12 lead before a timeout by Pitt-Greensburg.

Bradford would lead for the remainder of the set and would go on to take game three, 25-19 and the match 3-0.
