Alexis Ray led the way offensively with a game-high 11 kills and put together a solid game on the defensive end, tallying a team-best three blocks. The 11 kills for Ray was her third highest total in a match this season, and the fifth time this year she has recorded double-digit kills.

In the opening set, Altoona jumped out to a 7-1 advantage, but the Bobcats slowly crept back and would get within four (11-7) on a kill by Sabre Turner. Following the Turner kill, Pitt-Greensburg reeled off four of the next five points to cut the deficit to three (14-11) following an error by the Lions. The two sides continued to trade points and the Altoona lead would be cut to two, following an attack error from Eden Taddei. The Lions responded winning four of the next six points to take control of the set. Altoona won three of the final four points of the set and would jump out to a 1-0 lead following a 25-20 victory in the opening set.

Penn State Altoona continued the momentum into set two winning the first four points. The Bobcats answered with a kill from Ray and a service ace from Dongilli, but the Lions won three of the next four points to push their advantage to four (7-3). Pitt-Greensburg then answered with four-straight points to tie the set at seven, but Altoona fired off six quick points to grab hold of the set. Altoona pushed its lead to 16-6 and would take a 2-0 lead with a 24-15 decision in the second set.

Altoona won the first two points of the third set and would never trail as they would take game three (25-20) for a 3-0 victory.
