Game 1- Pitt-Greensburg 2, Penn State Behrend 1

The Bobcats tallied a run in the second to jump out to a 1-0 advantage. Tyler Holland reached base on an error and moved over to second on the play. The junior first baseman advanced to third on a passed ball and Mike Parlak and Chris Common both drew back-to-back walks to load the bases for Pitt-Greensburg. Holland came around to score on a passed ball to put the Bobcats ahead 1-0.

Pitt-Greensburg continued to hold a 1-0 lead until the sixth inning when Dan Kiester roped a double to left field, which scored Common to put the visitors ahead 2-0. Common was hit by a pitch to begin the inning then moved over to second on a wild pitch.

Behrend broke up the shutout bid with a run in the sixth, but Mish moved the Lions down in the seventh to send Pitt-Greensburg to the 2-1 victory in the opening game of the day.

The Lions scratched three runs across the plate in the third to cut the deficit to one (6-5), but after the Bobcats went down in order to begin the fourth, Behrend would tied the game at six in the bottom of the inning.
