Women’s Volleyball Loses In Four Sets To Mt. Aloysius

GREENSBURG, Pa – Pitt-Greensburg women's volleyball took on Mount Aloysius in an AMCC matchup. The Bobcats looked to keep their win streak alive, and use home court advantage to their favor. They ended up losing 3-1, and their record moves to 7-16, and 3-4 in AMCC matches.

Pitt-Greensburg lost the first two sets 25-10 and 25-13. The Bobcats then came back and won the third set 25-20 from an all around great team effort. They battled throughout the fourth set and took the match to the end, but ended up losing the final set by a very close 26-24.

During the match, freshman Emma Halutick recorded a team best 15 kills, while also tallying five digs. Senior Emma Dongilli had 40 assists, 16 digs, and three aces, while sophomore Mackenzie Schropp had 14 digs, and senior Kassi Niver recorded 13 digs.

Pitt-Greensburg travels to Bradford Saturday (Oct 26) to take on Pitt-Bradford at 1pm.
