Women’s Volleyball Loses to Penn State Altoona

Altoona, PA – Pitt-Greensburg traveled to Altoona to take on Penn State Altoona in an AMCC matchup. The bobcats dropped three straight sets and loosing the match, bringing their season record to 7-18, and 3-6 in AMCC matches.

Pitt-Greensburg dropped the first set 25-13, but seemed to pick up momentum heading into the next two sets. The bobcats lost the second set 25-16, but put up a fight in the final set, however they ultimately lost 25-20.

Senior Emma Dongilli lead both teams in assists with 17 and digs with 13, while senior Kassi Niver recorded 12 digs. Freshmen Emma Halutick and Savanna Stephens both tallied seven kills, and Zoe Sheffler had six.

Pitt-Greensburg plays their final game of the season on Saturday (Nov 2) at 2pm against Penn State Behrend at home for senior day.
