Men's Soccer Drops Heartbreaker to Bradford

The Pitt-Greensburg Men's Soccer team rattled off two goals in the second half to tie the game against the Panthers of Pitt-Bradford, however, a late penalty shot propelled Bradford past the Bobcats by a score of 3-2.
 
Bradford was able to get on the board early, scoring three minutes into the game off of the foot of leading scorer Chase Rider. The Panthers were able to extend its lead to 2-0 just 20 minutes later with a goal from Brent Kennedy.
 
The Bobcats were able to come roaring back with a penalty kick goal by Jason Argueta and an own goal with an assist from Robert Reed off a corner kick. The Bobcats were able to keep constant pressure on Bradford, giving them a plethora of opportunities in the box. The Bobcats tallied ten corner kicks, while staying on their offensive side of the field for the majority of the game.
 
The amount of shots were as close as they could get, with Bradford registering ten shots and Greensburg registering nine shots. The Panthers were able to get eight of those shots on goal while the Bobcats were able to get just four.
 
Adam Yoder, Ross Hartley, Brian Seidl, and Robert Reed led the way for UPG, playing all 90 minutes for the Bobcats. Pitt-Greensburg will finish the regular season on Tuesday when they hire the RedHawks of La Roche. Kickoff is slated for 3:15.
