Notables
Game 1

Hiram jumped out to a quick four-run advantage plating four runs in the top of the first.

Pitt-Greensburg loaded the bases in the bottom of the inning, but could not take advantage of the opportunity. Bonadio singled to begin the frame and Thorp took a 1-0 pitch and smacked it to right center. Sullivan loaded the bases, but Davey grounded out to end the inning.

Neither team would plate a run in the next two innings, but UPG got things going in the fourth. Davey smacked a one-out single and advanced to second on a wild pitch. He would then come across to score on an RBI single from Goodwin. Following a flyout from Keller for the second out of the frame, Dylan DeRoss came through with a base-hit to center, which scored Goodwin as the Bobcats trailed 4-2 after four innings.

Hiram would come right back in the fifth and add two additional runs. UPG managed just one hit over the final three innings as the Bobcats would fall in game one, 6-2.

Game 2

Hiram got out of the gates quick and put up eight runs in the top of the first to grab the lead.

In the third, Bonadio scored Cavanaugh on an RBI ground out, but the Terriers would answer with three runs on four hits in the fourth to grab an 11-1 advantage heading into the home half of the fourth.

The Bobcats added two runs in the bottom of the fourth as Hubbard and Cavanaugh each drove in runs to cut the deficit to eight after four innings.

Trailing 16-4 heading into the final at-bats of the afternoon, Pitt-Greensburg would make things interesting with a big offensive inning. Green led off the frame with a triple to the right centerfield gap and came around to score on a base hit from Cappellini. Goodwin and Hubbard each reached base to load the bags.

Bonadio came through with a single up the middle four two runs and Austyn Carson and Green each would collect an RBI with base hits. Cappellini then plated two with a single to left center and the Terriers would make the call to the bullen.

John Lusnek came into the game for Hiram and got Sullivan to pop out in foul territory to escape the inning.
