Men's Soccer can't get on the board in 3-0 loss to Muskingum

The Bobcat Men's Soccer Team traveled to Ohio to take on Muskingum in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday. Pitt-Greensburg's offensive struggles continued, losing the match 3-0. 
 
The Muskies came out and scored its first goal in the 32nd minute, followed by goals in the 59th and 72ndminute.
 
UPG was able to record 11 shots, with four getting on net, however, the team was unable to get a tally on the board. The Muskies were able to record a total of 21 shots, with nine getting on goal. Keeper Danny Rodgers was able to save six of the nine shots he faced. 
 
While the Bobcats came out slow on the offensive end, recording only two shots in the first half, the team came out strong in the second half, recording nine of its 11 shots.  Vinny Treonze led the Bobcat offensive attack with five shots throughout the match, getting two on goal. Carson Gilarno and Tristian Larson each recorded a shot on goal as well for UPG.
 
Rodgers, Adam Yoder, Gilarno, Ross Hartley, Brian Seidl, Jack Shirley, and Treonze all played the full 90 for the Bobcats. Bryce Weber and Robert Reed led the way off the bench playing 61 minutes and 59 minutes respectively.
 
UPG played physical, like they have all season, recording 17 fouls throughout the match. Things got chippy in the second half, with Muskingum's Nicholas Hubbard receiving a red card at the 50:00 mark, followed by four yellow cards, two for each team, in the remainder of the match. 
 
Muskingum used their depth throughout the game, playing a total of 18 players throughout the match.
 
The Bobcats will travel to Alfred State this Saturday, looking to notch its first AMCC win of the season. Kickoff is at 4:15.
