Mounties cling to victory; Bobcats lose to Mt. Aloysius 3-0

The Pitt-Greensburg Women's Volleyball team continued its week of highly competitive non-conference matches against Mount Aloysius on Thursday. The Mounties defeated the Bobcats 3-0, despite all three matches coming down to the final points. 
 
The Bobcats had control of all three sets, however, UPG was not able to capitalize on its momentum. The Bobcats were within two points at the end of all three sets, with the second set going into extra points. The aces continued to flow for UPG, building on the last match against La Roche. Pitt-Greensburg had nine service aces in the match.
 
The Bobcats offense was on top of its game as well, recording 31 kills throughout the match. Emma Halutick continued to lead the attack for UPG, recording a team-high nine kills. Libero Abigail Lescallette led the team in digs with 21. Halutick and Alexis ray led the way with nine and seven points scored respectively. 
 
Pitt-Greensburg will travel to Alfred State this Saturday to compete in two matches. The first will begin at 11 am and the second will follow at 1 pm.
