Bobcats Swept in La Roche Tri-Match

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt-Greensburg women's volleyball team was right on the brink today in a tri-match at La Roche University. The Bobcats dropped both matches 3-0.
 
The Bobcats took on Lycoming in the first match of the day in a nonconference matchup. Emma Halutick was the leader of the Bobcats with ten kills and ten digs in the match. Alanna Meloy had double-digit digs while Taylor Logan had ten assists.
 
In another nonconference matchup, the RedHawks of La Roche took down the Bobcats in three sets. La Roche had ten more kills and nine more assists over the course of the match. The Bobcats held their own on defense, recording 57 digs, just two less than La Roche.
 
Halutick had double digit kills and digs while Alanna Meloy and Chloe Lukondi also had double-digit digs.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will be back on the court on Tuesday when the team will travel to take on Carlow.
