Women's Volleyball Drops Match to Carlow

PITTSBURGH – Women's volleyball took their second trip into Pittsburgh this in four days, this time to take on future AMCC member Carlow. The Bobcats dropped the match in three sets.
 
Senior Emma Halutik led the charge for Pitt-Greesnburg, leading the team in kills (9) and digs (12). Junior Kaylee George and Freshman Chloe Lukondi also had strong showings. George led the team with two aces (2) assists (12) and had 11 digs. Lukondi recorded six kills and nine digs.
 
In three sets, the Bobcats had just two less kills than the Celtics while having one more assist. Pitt-Greensburg also recorded 52 digs. Four shy of the Celtics 56.
 
The Bobcats will start conference play this weekend with a trip to Alfred State. The teams will play two games with one being an AMCC match and the other being played as a nonconference match.
