Men's Soccer Drops AMCC Game of the Week to Behrend

ERIE – The Pitt-Greensburg men's soccer team clinched its second consecutive playoff appearance and secured the program's first home playoff game since 2014. The team needs to win one of its last two matches to earn a first-round bye in the AMCC Playoffs. The Bobcats traveled north to play in the AMCC Game of the Week against the Behrend Lions. After trailing just 1-0 at half, the Bobcats couldn't overtake the Lions as they dropped the match 4-0.

Behrend proved to be to explosive for the Bobcats as they recorded 20 shots compared to the Bobcats three shots. Pitt-Greensburg was not able to record a shot until the second half and recorded just one shot on goal.

Six of the Bobcats' starting XI played the full 90 with only one of the starters playing less than 60 minutes. Justin Williams and Bryce Weber led the way off of the bench, playing 30 and 27 minutes respectively. Junior keeper Danny Rodgers played the full game in net, saving five of the nine shots he faced.

Vinny Treonze had the long Bobcat shot on net while Jason Argueta and Zander Plizga also had a shot in the game.
