ERIE – Sophomore Kayla Gaughan finished day one as the top bowler as women's bowling competed in the Grapevine Classic, hosted by Behrend today. The Bobcats defeated La Roche twice and dropped matches to Behrend and Denison to finish the event in third place.
 
Gaughan finished the day with a total pin fall of 948 to led the Bobcats. Beatrice Cook and Giavonna Salvio also finished in the top ten with total pin falls of 781 and 793 respectively.
 
This performance was the team's top result in the season so far. The Bobcats will hit the lanes again in two weeks when they host their first event with multiple schools since the team was started.
