NEW CASTLE, DE – The Pitt-Greensburg women's bowling team is competing in its first event of the season as they are taking part in the Bud Whitman Invitational hosted by Chestnut Hill College.
 
Kayla Gaughan and Erica Moss were the top bowlers for the Bobcats as far as total pinfall as they recorded 839 and 781 pins respectively. Giavonna Salvio also had a strong showing as she had a total pinfall of 600.
 
The Bobcats took part in five matches on the day as the team's top score came against Kutztown in the fourth match of the day. The Bobcats dropped the match to the Golden Bears but had total pinfall of 705. Gaughan had the team's highest score in any match with a 188.
 
The team will be back in action tomorrow in day two of the event.
