Men's Basketball Races Past Shenango

SHARON, PA – It was a night of impressive performances for the Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team as they defeated Penn State Shenango 87-75.
 
Senior JoJo France scored a season-high 28 points and tied a career-high with seven three pointers. Junior Reggie Priah also had a career high himself, scoring 27 points while also securing nine rebounds.
 
Senior Micah Jones also had a standout game, scoring ten points and coming one rebound away from a double-double while coming in as a reserve for the first time this season. Jones also hit three shots from behind the arc in the game.
 
Jaylen Williams made hist first start of the season and secured seven rebounds and swiped two steals while dropping four points. The Bobcats shot 75 percent from the free-throw line in the game, making 15 of 20 from the line. Shenango shot just 50 percent from the line, going 12 of 24.
 
Pitt-Greensburg's defense also held the Lions to five three pointers, shooting just under 22 percent from behind the arc.
 
The Bobcats will have the next couple days off before taking on Geneva this Saturday in Chambers Hall. Tip off will be at 2 PM.
