GREENSBURG – It was a rough return to the court for Pitt-Greensburg after the Thanksgiving Holiday as the Golden Tornadoes of Geneva shot 46 percent from behind the arc and Isaac Massie scored 30 points to defeat the Bobcats 74-58.

It was a slow first half as Geneva jumped out to a 20-point lead before the game hit ten minutes old. The lead grew to 26 points before the end of the half, with Massie leading the way, scoring 17 of his 30 points in the first half.

Pitt-Greensburg tried to battle back in the second half, but the closest the team could get was 14 points. The press picked up in the second half for the Bobcats, however, Geneva was forced into only 12 turnovers in the game.

The Bobcats tried to enforce their size in the paint, scoring 30 points in the middle, however, missed layups and tough shots left points off the board.

Pitt-Greensburg will play again tomorrow as they welcome the Hood Blazers into Chambers Hall. Tip off will be at 3 PM.
