Williams Leads Bobcats Past Washington College

HUNTINGDON, PA – The Bobcat men's basketball team had its highest scoring output of the season ina 96-89 win over Washington College in the consolation game of the Doc Greene Tournament hosted by the Juniata Eagles.
 
The Bobcats were led by senior Jaylen Williams who stuffed the stat sheet with 13 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Williams also recorded a steal and a block in the game. JoJo France did what he does best in the win; he scored. France led all players with 24 points in the game while going 4-for-8 from behind the arc and 8-of-11 from the free-throw line.
 
Junior Reggie Priah also had a solid game, scoring 19 points and securing four rebounds. Freshman Matthew Marinchak and Junior Octavius Hardy also scored in double-digints.
 
Pitt-Greensburg shot 44.8 percent from behind the arc and 56.9 percent from the floor. The Bobcats turned the ball over just 12 times compared to 21 assists. That is the best assist to turnover ration of the season for the Bobcats.
 
The team will enter conference play next Wednesday with Hilbert paying a visit to Greensburg. Tip off will be at 1 PM.
