Bobcat Offense Comes Alive in Loss to Hiram

GREENSBURG, PA - The Bobcats baseball team had its best run output of the season on Thursday, however, the team lost to the Terriers of Hiram 17-9.
 
NOTABLES
• Brody Bonadio had two hits in five at bats and scored a run.
• Mikey Sullivan hit a home run and drove in three runs.
• Hunter Gideons also had a home run and three RBIs for the Bobcats.
• 25 Bobcats saw action in the game.
 
Pitt-Greensburg fell behind early, giving up seven runs in the first three innings. Hiram added four more runs in the fourth, however, the Bobcats came storming back, scoring seven runs of its own in the fourth and fifth innings. UPG also put multiple runs on the board in the seventh inning, however, it wasn't enough to take the game. The Terriers scored runs in all but one inning. The Bobcats showed Hiram 11 different pitchers. Hiram was able to UPG in nine at bats.
 
UP NEXT
The Bobcats will host its conference opener on Saturday when they play Alfred State. The first game of the double header is scheduled for 1 pm.
