Women's Volleyball Drops Two Saturday Matches

BUFFALO, NY – The Pitt-Greensburg women's volleyball team competed in two more games at Buffalo State today. The Bobcats lost both matches, losing a rematch of last night's game against Bluffton and dropping a match later in the day to Buffalo State.
 
In the Bobcats' first match of the day, Bluffton was able to control the scoring for the majority of the match, defeating UPG in three sets by the scores of 25-18, 25-10, and 25-19. The Bobcats were able to only record 15 kills compared to the 41 recorded by the Beavers.
 
The Bobcats battled to closer scored in game two, but still lost in three sets to the Bengals of Buffalo State. UPG was able to up their kills to 23 and also had 50 digs. Alanna Meloy, Emma Halutick and Kaylee George all had double-digit digs for Pitt-Greensburg.
 
The Bobcats will have some down time before they play in a tri-match at La Roche on Oct. 1.
