Bobcats Shutout Celtics 2-0

PITTSBURGH – 22 Pitt-Greensburg shots and two Caleb Yuricha goals led the Bobcats in a shutout win over the Carlow Celtics in the shadows of the Pittsburgh skyline at Highmark Stadium. 13 of those Bobcat shots came in the first half, getting pressure on the Celtics back line early and often.

Junior Danny Rodgers made six saves and earned the shutout for the Bobcats. Yuricha had ten shots on his own, with six of those getting on goal. This was his first career multi-goal game for Pitt-Greensburg in just his ninth game. Freshman Kyle Ryan earned his first career assist on Yuricha's first goal.

The Bobcat win gives the team its first win streak of the season, as they also defeated Wilson yesterday in Chambersburg. Junior Jason Argueta led the way for the Bobcats off the bench, recording three shots in 54 minutes played. Ryan, Ross Hartley, and Ammar Kanafani also recorded multiple shots in the game.

The Bobcats will return home on Wednesday when they host Muskingum at Ridilla Field. Kickoff will be at 4 PM.
