Rodgers Records Ten Saves; Bobcats Fall to Goucher

BALTIMORE, MD – The Bobcat men's soccer team hit the road today as they traveled to take on the Gophers of Goucher. Two first half goals doomed Pitt-Greensburg as they dropped the match 2-1.

The Gophers defense hindered the Bobcats, as the team was only able to get off two shots, both on goal. Freshman Caleb Yuricha scored a goal for the second-straight game to bring UPG within one in the second half. Junior Jason Argueta recorded the assist on the goal.

Danny Rodgers made ten saves on 12 shots faced to keep the Bobcats in the game. Goucher had a total of 17 shots in Pitt-Greensburg's defensive end. Once again, four of the five Bobcats to play the full 90 were freshmen. Senior Robert Reed also played the full 90. Bryce Weber and Lucas Killen led the way off the bench.

The Bobcats will play again on Monday when they host Saint Vincent. Kickoff will be at noon.
