Women's Volleyball Finish Bearcat Challenge With Two Hard-Fought Losses

LATROBE, PA- Bobcat women's volleyball finished up their weekend with a Saturday doubleheader on the campus of Saint Vincent College for the Bearcat Challenge. Pitt-Greensburg dropped both matches on the day.
 
 Pitt-Greensburg's first opponent of the day was Westminster College in which they dropped all 3 sets for their second loss of the year.
 
UPG finished the tournament against Penn State-Berks.  The Bobcats fought hard in the first set, just coming short but they took that momentum into set two. The Bobcats defeated the Lions in the second set, but it was not enough.  That was the lone set win of the day for UPG. Berks finished the last two sets to defeat the Bobcats three sets to one.
 
Freshman Sydney Haysley continues to impress early in her collegiate career as she had 22 kills, and 14 digs respectively in today's doubleheader.  Senior leader Emma Halutick also chipped in 18 kills and 23 digs. Junior Kaylee George led the team with 25 assists on the day..
