Women's Volleyball Fall to Franciscan in Three Sets

GREENSBURG – Women's Volleyball lost a tough three-set match to Franciscan, as the Barons outscored the Bobcats 75-43 combined in the three sets. Emma Halutick and Sidney Haysley led the way for Pitt-Greensburg with seven kills each.
 
Alanna Meloy had yet another solid game on defense with 11 digs. Haysley and Halutick chipped in ten digs each. Kaylee George contributed seven assists for UPG as well.
 
In the home opener, this may have been the most challenging game for the Bobcats thus far. The Bobcats recorded just a .008 attack percentage in the game and recorded 21 errors. Franciscan did more with less as they had 13 less attempts, but 11 more kills. The Barons also only had 12 attack errors in the match.
 
The Bobcats will be off until this Saturday when they travel to Waynesburg to take on the Jackets and Penn State Greater Allegheny.
