Men's Basketball Wins Thriller Over Behrend

GREENSBURG – The Bobcats men's basketball team played yet another thriller against a Penn State school, the second of the week. This time, the Bobcats came out on top with a total team effort and defeated the Behrend Lions 66-63.
 
Three Bobcats scored in double-figures, including Octavius Hardy who had 13 points, six rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Hardy dominated the paint and led the Bobcats on a huge second half run to take the lead. Also contributing to that run was senior Jaylen Williams. Williams went three-for-three from behind the arc, including two huge three pointers in the corner to propel the Bobcats to the win.
 
JoJo France also scored in double-digits with 12 points while also dishing out six assists. Armend Karpuzi added on to his team lead in steals, with three today and played huge in the game while also scoring nine points.
 
Pitt-Greensburg shot 94.7 percent from the free-throw line and scored 19 points off of 14 Behrend turnovers. The Bobcats held the Lions to just three offensive rebounds in the game.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will travel to La Roche this Wednesday for the team's first meeting with the RedHawks this season. Tip-off will be at 7 PM.
