Bobcats Fall to Bradford on the Road

BRADFORD, PA – The run of close games that has been the Bobcat men's basketball conference season continued Saturday as Pitt-Greensburg traveled north to take on the Panthers of Pitt-Bradford. The Bobcats led by three at half, however, the team was outscored by six points in the second half to drop the game to Bradford 89-86.
 
Senior JoJo France led the Bobcats in scoring, getting back to the 20-point mark for the first time in over a week, as he dropped 21 points. Junior Octavius Hardy continued his stellar play with 18 points and eight rebounds for the Bobcats. Fellow junior Reggie Priah also had 18 points while securing seven rebounds.
 
Armend Karpuzi also scored in double-figures with ten points. Micah Jones cleaned up on the boards, reserving 11 rebounds while scoring six points.
 
Pitt-Greensburg shot over 58 percent from the floor in the second half, however, the Panthers went 17-of-19 from the free throw line in the second half alone, which turned out to be the difference of the game. The Bobcats also turned the ball over 18 times, which resulted in 23 Bradford points. The Panthers held check in the turnover department, turning the ball over just ten times.
 
The Bobcats will be back at home this Wednesday when they welcome the Mounties of Mount Aloysius to Chambers Hall.
