Marinchak Drops 26; Men's Basketball Falls to Hood

FREDERICK, Md. – Just over a year after Matthew Marinchak set a school record with nine three pointers against the Blazers of Hood College, Marinchak once again had a strong performance, this time hitting seven three-point shots. Marinchak had a team-high 26 points, but the Bobcats fell to the Blazers 89-66.
 
Marinchak added five rebounds and an assist to his stats while James Evans-Mcquay scored 12 points with six rebounds and five assists. The Bobcats gave up 50 points in the paint, which was the difference of the game. The Blazers also had 52 bench points while the Bobcats had just 11. The Bobcats were able to get the free-throw line just four times, with one coming in the second half.
 
The Bobcats will have one more game before the holiday break as they will travel to Waynesburg to take on the Jackets on Wednesday. Tip off will be at 2:00 PM.
