Men's Basketball Falls in Defensive Battle With Waynesburg

WAYNESBURG – It was a defensive battle for the Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team as they went head-to-head with Waynesburg in the team's last game before the winter break. All 50 of the Bobcats points came from four players.
 
Sophomore Matthew Marinchak had a game-high 20 points to go with four rebounds and three steals. Jackson Byer and James Evans-Mcquay also scored in double-figure for the Bobcats. Pitt-Greensburg had a one-point lead going into the halftime break but were outscored 25-19 in the second half. 55 points is the least the Bobcats have given up since Nov. 12 of last season when Grove City was only able to score 49 on the Bobcats.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will take a mid-season break for the holidays and come back on New Years Eve against Lancaster Bible inside Chambers Hall.
