Volleyball Drops Pair at Allegheny Tournament

Meadville – The Bobcat Volleyball Team played two matches on the campus of Allegheny College today, dropping both 3-0.
 
Pitt-Greensburg started out slow against the host Gators, but battled in the final two sets. After tallying just 12 point in set one, the Bobcats were able to come within four points in the final two sets. Freshman Megan Cassaday led the Bobcats with six kills in the match.
 
Match two was against the Quakers of Wilmington College. Set two was the best set for the Bobcats as they were able to put up 20 points, but the sets that surrounded the middle set were not what the Bobcats hoped for. Madison Martin and Chloe Lukondi had five kills each while Kaylee George had 12 assists and Alanna Meloy had 11 digs.
 
Senior Kaylee George was named to the All-Tournament Team.
 
The Bobcats will have a week off and then travel to Cresson to take on Saint Vincent in the Mount Aloysius Tri-Meet. First Serve will be at 1 pm.
